We are introducing our newest initiative for the Start Me Up program, "Hitch& Match" in Journalism.
The Egyptian revolution has inspired the world; it has turned a nation of recipients into senders… a country of passiveness into activists… and a reader into a journalist!
Start Me Up has developed a brand new initiation for specialized mentoring program: Hitch & Match. For this round we are starting with "Journalism and Communications", featuring a 30 hours training course at "Ta7rir Lounge", powered by The Goethe Institute, then a sum of 16 hours of One-on-One mentoring with one of Egypt's most prolific journalists and bloggers in various fields.
The Journalistic skills training will be conducted for one week. Daily from 11 am till 5 pm, from May 15th till the 19th.

لقد الهمت الثورة المصرية العالم... و جعلت من كل فرد من الشعب صحفياً او مراسلاً... فان الأحداث تتابع و الأخبار تتواصل، و أصبح لكلٍ منَا رؤيته الخاصة لما يحدث الآن فى مصر والعالم... وكنتيجة لذلك، هناك من اكتشف أن صناعة الخبر، يمكنها ان تصبح حرفته!
يخدم برنامج "Start Me Up" من يريد أن يطوّر نفسه في مجال عمله، ويزداد خبرة؛ و في مبادرة برنامج "Hitch & Match" ؛ حيث جاء هذا البرنامج برؤية جديدة من نوعها، ليعمل على تمكين الشباب من النجاح في مسارهم الوظيفي ومساعدتهم في تحديد أهدافهم وآمالهم المستقبلية فى قطاعات متخصصة. و تبدأ الدورة الأولى من البرنامج بقطاع الصحافة و الإعلام، حيث تنقسم الدورة الى:
- 30 ساعة/ 5 أيام متتالية : ورشة عمل تدريبية و مكثفة للتدريب على أساليب و أنواع الكتابة الصحفية والقنوات الاعلامية و كيفية العمل بها.
-16 ساعة/ 8 لقاءات فردية مع أحد أعلام الصحافة حالياَ، اتباعاَ لاسلوب التوجيه الفردي

موعد إنتهاء البرنامج: 25/ 6
